Cyber police arrest Pydhonie man with 33 debit cards in Rs 11-crore cyber fraud

A 31-year-old man from Pydhonie area has been arrested for his alleged involvement in duping a 75-year-old Colaba-based retired Merchant Navy captain was of Rs 11.16 crore, in the second biggest cyber fraud of 2024 in Mumbai, police said on Wednesday.

According to officials of Mumbai South region cyber police personnel, 33 debit cards and 12 cheque books of different bank accounts and users were seized from the accused, Kaif Ibrahim Mansoori, a resident of Mohammed Ali Road.
