Cyber fraudsters send Nawab Malik photo to threaten senior citizen of arrest in drugs bust

GETTING craftier day by day, Cyber criminals told a senior citizen in Pune that a car purchased using his identity had met with an accident and Maharashtra former minister and NCP leader Nawab Malik had been caught with drugs in the crashed vehicle. The victim was even sent a photo of Malik sitting in a car. The senior citizen lost Rs 13 lakh in the fraud earlier this month.

An FIR was registered at Chaturshrungi police station by a 74-year-old man who is a resident of Pashan and is retired.
