Instagram rolls out live location sharing, new stickers and nicknames in DMs

Instagram is rolling out new features to enhance the Direct Messaging (DM) experience. The photo-sharing platform’s parent, Meta, has announced that these updates will help users connect and express themselves more creatively. The latest update allows users to personalise chats by adding nicknames, adds 17 new sticker packs and even introduces a WhatsApp-style location-sharing feature. This feature will let users share their whereabouts with loved ones or track them in crowded areas.
