HCLSoftware bets on robust EM demand

Demand for software-based products is surging in emerging markets, especially in regions like India, West Asia and Africa driven by digital transformation initiatives across sectors such as government, financial services and enterprises, Rajiv Shesh, chief revenue officer of HCLSoftware, told FE. “In West Asia and Africa, there is a notable demand in commerce as these governments are building infrastructure to establish themselves as hubs for trade,” Shesh said. He highlighted that digital initiatives aimed at improving business engagement and government-to-customer services are also contributing to this rising demand.
