UPI Scam: Fraudster are using this app “distributed via WhatsApp” to steal your money

Tamil Nadu police have issued a warning about a new phishing scam targeting UPI users. Fraudsters are distributing a malicious app disguised as the “PM Kisan Yojna” app. Once installed, this app can gain control over users’ SMS and device permissions, allowing scammers to intercept sensitive information and authorize unauthorized transactions.
