Samsung ordered to pay $118 million to computer memory company over patent fight

A jury in the US has ruled in favour of Netlist, a computer memory company, in a patent infringement lawsuit against Samsung Electronics. According to a report, the jury awarded Netlist $118 million in damages after finding that Samsung’s memory modules used in high-performance computing infringed on Netlist’s patents.
