Cred founder Kunal Shah recently shared a post on X (formerly known as Twitter), linking the rise in mobile internet data usage to the decline in birth rates in India. Proposing the hypothesis that the widespread availability of high-speed internet is contributing to the country’s decreasing fertility rate, Shah’s post has now garnered over 30,000 views
“Conjecture : data speed in a community is correlated to decline in birth rate,” Shah wrote in the post.
