PMRDA bans contract staff from using mobiles during work hours

To inculcate discipline and avoid problems during work, the Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority (PMRDA) has banned contract employees hired through an outsourcing agency from using their mobile phones during office hours.

“It has been noticed that the use of mobile phones by contract staff hired through an outsourcing agency is creating problems at work. Also, there should not be violation of secrecy. As a part of office discipline, it has been decided to ban contract employees from using their mobile phones during office hours. Its implementation has begun.
