IIT–Bombay’s in house start-up incubator SINE to launch Rs 100-cr VC fund

The Society for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (SINE), the in-house start-up incubator at Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay, plans to launch a Rs 100-crore venture capital (VC) fund to support deep tech start-ups and those in areas of national importance. As this is expected to provide in-house seed-money funding for start-ups incubated at the SINE, the exhaustive alumni network of the institute is likely to play a key role.
