Stop online sale of firecrackers: Delhi Police to e-commerce sites

Nine days after the Supreme Court reprimanded the Delhi Police for not overseeing the effective implementation of the firecracker ban in Delhi, the Crime Branch Monday wrote to social media and e-commerce platforms seeking an immediate stop to the online sale of firecrackers.

Police said an email in this regard was sent to social media and e-commerce platforms that offer online sales of firecrackers within the National Capital Territory (NCT) of Delhi.
