Paytm goes international, lets users make UPI payments outside of India

One97 Communications Limited, the company that owns the popular digital payment platform Paytm recently announced that users can now make UPI payments at select locations outside of India.

Paytm says Indian travellers going to the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Singapore, France, Mauritius, Bhutan and Nepal will now be able to pay for shopping, dining and local experiences using the app.
