Apple may launch AirTag four years after the first model: These are the ‘big’ changes expected

Apple is reportedly gearing up to launch a new version of its popular tracking device, AirTag, four years after the original model debuted. According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, the next-generation AirTag, codenamed B589, is currently undergoing manufacturing tests and is expected to launch sometime next year.
“That accessory has now progressed in manufacturing tests, and Apple is getting ready to bring it to market,” Gurman said, adding that the new AirTag is expected to retain a similar design to its predecessor. However, Apple may bring some big changes to the product.
