Zombie drones! Researchers create drones from the deceased birds; know the significance and types

Researchers at New Mexico Tech’s Institute of Mining and Technology, located in Socorro, New Mexico, have embarked on an innovative project to create drones and robots modelled after deceased birds. These “animatronic” bird drones, currently still in the testing phase, aim to improve wildlife monitoring by providing a less intrusive, more natural way of studying birds and other animals. The project has gained attention for its unique approach to wildlife observation, and it addresses some of the limitations associated with traditional drone technology.
