Google Maps introduces real-time AQI monitoring in over 100 countries just in time for winter

Google has rolled out a new feature, allowing users to check the real-time average air quality index (AQI) within its Maps app. Besides offering insights on air quality, the Maps app, which currently clocks over 2 billion active users, also offers tips and insights based on the severity of air quality.

According to Google Maps, AQI is updated every hour, and users can access the air quality of any location in India. The feature will also be available in more than 100 countries from this week.
