With AI as the ‘fifth Beatle,’ “Now and Then” makes Grammy history

The Beatles’ last song “Now and Then,” restored using artificial intelligence, has earned nominations for Record of the Year and Best Rock Performance at the 67th Grammy Awards.
The track will compete against contemporary artists including Beyoncé’s “Texas Hold ‘Em,” Billie Eilish’s “Birds of a Feather,” and Taylor Swift in the Record of the Year category. For Best Rock Performance, it faces entries from Green Day, Pearl Jam, and The Black Keys.
