Intel admits Arrow Lake CPU launch failed: “This is on us, we need to …”

Intel executives have admitted full responsibility for the disappointing performance of their recently launched Arrow Lake processors, promising fixes by year’s end. The company’s flagship Core Ultra 200S series processors have failed to meet performance expectations, particularly in gaming workloads.
“The performance we saw in reviews — to be very clear, through no fault of reviewers — was not what we expected, not what we intended. The launch just didn’t go as planned,” said Robert Hallock, Intel’s vice president and general manager, during an interview with Hot Hardware.
