Roblox bans access to unrated games and social features for these users

Roblox is restricting kids below 13 years of age from accessing unrated experiences. Starting November 18, Roblox users under 13 years old will “not be able to play, search and discover” to enter ‘social hangout’ on the platform that allows them to send text and voice messages.
Announced in the official Roblox Developer forum, the move is aimed to prevent users from being exposed to dangers such as grooming, explicit content, and violent or abusive material. It said “By default, users under the age of 13 will not be able to play, search, and discover unrated experiences. This will ensure that parents and users have more clarity into the types of content available on Roblox and will help them make more informed choices about what they want to play”.
