Satellite-based service entity can provide VSAT, GMPCS connectivity under authorisation regime: TRAI chairman

NEW DELHI: A satellite-based telecom service authorised entity can provide very small aperture terminal (VSAT) and global mobile personal communications by satellite (GMPCS) connectivity under the recently proposed unified regime, after obtaining the required permission from the central government, a senior regulatory official said on Wednesday.
