    Japanese camera giant fires CEO facing illegal drug allegations

    Japanese camera and medical equipment manufacturer, Olympus, has dismissed its global CEO, Stefan Kaufmann. According to a report by the news agency Reuters, the company made this announcement following allegations of Kaufmann’s illegal drug purchases. Since the announcement, the company’s shares have fallen by 6%.
