Chinese hackers collected audio from unnamed Trump campaign adviser: Report

With less than 10 days left for one of the most awaited US presidential elections, the reports have emerged that Chinese state-affiliated hackers tried to intercept audio from calls of US political figures, including an unnamed campaign adviser of Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump.
The Washington Post, in a report, stated that FBI and the US Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency were investigating the incident wherein unauthorized access to commercial telecommunications infrastructure was granted, carried out by people who are associated with China.
