Apple’s head of software Craig Federighi has shed light on the company’s delayed rollout of Apple Intelligence, emphasising a methodical approach focused on privacy and ecosystem integration rather than rushing to market with “just another chatbot.”
Speaking to The Wall Street Journal, Federighi revealed that while most AI platforms rely on cloud servers for every prompt, Apple prioritises running AI models directly on devices.
