TCS commissions 39,000 BSNL 4G sites, full rollout by March 2025: NG Subramaniam

NEW DELHI: Tata Consultancy Services together with Tata’s Tejas Networks, has been commercially deploying state-run Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited’s (BSNL) next-generation (4G) network, and said that the Indian system integrator is making networks more efficient, and reliable in a competitive landscape. In an interaction with ETTelecom’s Muntazir Abbas, N Ganapathy Subramaniam, Advisor, Telecom Strategic Initiatives at TCS & Chairman, Tejas Networks talks on the company’s telecom play, private 5G, BSNL commercial 4G network progress, and the use of 700 MHz band.
