Amazon unveils its first coloured Kindle, and a Kindle Scribe for note-taking

On Thursday, Amazon introduced its refreshed Kindle lineup of e-book readers, and in a first, included one––called Colorsoft Signature Edition––with a coloured e-ink display. It boasts week-long battery life and costs $279.99.

The Kindle series now consists of four models: the first-ever coloured Kindle, a reimagined Kindle Scribe, the fastest Kindle Paperwhite yet, and a new entry-level Kindle.
