Reliance Jio urges government to expedite the updating of Data Centre Policy to ensure data security

NEW DELHI: Reliance Jio chairman Akash Ambani urged the government to expedite the updating of the 2020 draft of the Data Centre Policy to ensure that Indian data remains within the country. Speaking at the India Mobile Congress 2024, Ambani noted that Indian mobile companies, along with the thriving ecosystem, are well-positioned to offer solutions to the rest of the world, including developed nations.
