Zomato’s independent director Gunjan Soni steps down with ‘immediate effect’: Read her ‘resignation email’ to CEO Deepinder Goyal

Zomato’s independent director Gunjan Tilak Raj Soni has resigned from her position with immediate effect. According to a stock exchange filing, Soni is leaving the online food delivery company due to ‘increased work commitments’. Soni joined Zomato’s board of directors before the food delivery company’s initial public offering (IPO) in July 2021.
Soni holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering in computer science from the Barkatullah Vishwavidalaya, Bhopal and a post graduate diploma in business management from XLRI, Jamshedpur.
