Sabarimala Darshan: What is Virtual queue system announced by Kerala government that BJP is opposing and how is it different from Spot booking at Sabarimala

Kerala government has announced the Virtual queue system for this year’s Mandalam-Makaravilakku Sabarimala pilgrimage. The Devaswom minister VN Vasavan has made it clear that there will be no spot booking at Sabarimala, but assured that no devotee who comes to the Lord Ayyappa temple during the annual pilgrimage will miss out on ‘darshan’. The Kerala government has also fixed the number of pilgrims per day at 80,000.
