Google may add a Gemini button directly on Android’s lock screen

Google is reportedly testing a dedicated Gemini button right on the Android lock screen. With this move, the company is planning to further integrate its generative AI assistant into Android phones. This button will provide users with instant access to the Gemini chatbot without needing to unlock their devices. Currently, Android users can access Gemini by long-pressing the power button, using home button actions or gestures, or through voice commands.
