Former CEO of crypto firm updates LinkedIn before going to prison: ‘…starting a new position as Inmate..’

Ryan Salame, the former CEO of the bankrupt cryptocurrency platform FTX updated his LinkedIn profile as he prepares for a seven-and-a-half-year prison sentence today, October 11, 2024. The former CEO has been granted jail for his role in Sam Bankman-Fried’s multi-billion-dollar cryptocurrency fraud.
“I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Inmate at FCI Cumberland!,” Salame announced on LinkedIn.
