More than half of all smartphones shipped in Q2 2024 reportedly come with cameras with 50MP resolution or higher. This has marked a new era of high-resolution mobile photography. This surge has been reportedly driven by consumer demand for better camera quality and has consistently been an important factor in smartphone purchasing decisions.
