Lego, the Denmark-based toy company, faced an unexpected digital crisis when its website fell victim to a cyber attack. Hackers managed to breach the site’s security, using the platform to promote fraudulent cryptocurrency schemes. A banner on the website had an illustration of golden coins bearing the company’s logo. It claimed to be ‘Lego coin’ which it said was officially out.
