How Chinese hackers may have used two of the ‘biggest telecom networks in US’ to access sensitive data

Chinese hackers have reportedly infiltrated the networks of major US broadband providers, gaining access to sensitive information, including data from systems used for court-authorised wiretapping.
The hackers may have access to network infrastructure used to cooperate with lawful US requests for communications data for months, says the report from a Wall Street Journal, which cited sources familiar with the matter as saying.
