Average monthly salary at Tamil Nadu unit 1.8 times higher than industry: Samsung

BENGALURU: Samsung India has conveyed to the Tamil Nadu government that the average monthly salary of its permanent manufacturing workers at the Chennai plant is 1.8 times the average salary of similar workers employed in the electronics sector, said people aware of the development.
