Cellnex CEO considering starting dividend plan a year earlier: Report
Spanish mobile phone tower operator Cellnex’s Chief Executive Marco Patuano said he is considering starting the company’s dividend plan a year earlier in 2025, newspaper Il Sole 24 Ore reported on Friday.
“We aim to bring forward to 2025 a remuneration that can be material, consistent,” he told the Italian newspaper.
The company has said in March it intends to distribute at least 3 billion euros ($3.31 billion) between 2026 and 2030, with at least 500 million euros in 2026 and a 7.5% annual increase after that.
Cellnex is in the process of reducing its debt after several years of aggressive expansion through acquisitions which made it one of Europe’s largest telecom firms.
