Why Google employees are now less worried about being beaten by ChatGPT maker OpenAI in AI race

The launch of OpenAI’s ChatGPT, a conversational AI chatbot, reportedly led CEO Sundar Pichai to declare a “code red” and redirect teams to focus on AI development. However, this seems to have changed over time with search giant’s employees feeling more confident about keeping up in the AI race, as per a report.
