Bing generative search is Microsoft’s answer to Google AI Overviews: Here’s how it works

Microsoft is giving its search engine, Bing, a major AI upgrade. Instead of just showing links to websites, Bing will now use AI to provide more comprehensive and informative answers directly within its search results. The feature,which was introduced in July, is similar to Google’s AI Overviews in Search.
“With the introduction of generative search, Bing utilises AI to deliver a truly unique experience by not only optimising the search results but also how those results appear in a cohesive layout.
