Trai eases SMS whitelisting norms to reduce disruption

New Delhi: The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (Trai) has clarified to entities, particularly banks, that the dynamic parts of the URLs in commercial messages need not be whitelisted, and that they just need to verify the static portion, allaying fears of any mass disruption in SMS deliveries starting Tuesday.
