Sony Pictures CEO Tony Vinciquerra to step down; Ravi Ahuja named successor

Sony Pictures Entertainment (SPE) announced a major leadership transition today. Tony Vinciquerra, who has been at the helm as Chairman and CEO since 2017, will step down from his role on January 2, 2025. Ravi Ahuja, the current Chairman of Global Television Studios and President and COO of SPE, will succeed him as President and CEO.

Vinciquerra will remain in an advisory capacity with the company, serving as non-executive Chairman until the end of 2025.
