Cyber Police issue advisory for social media users
Srinagar, Sep 29: Cyber Police Kashmir on Sunday issued a stern advisory, warning the public against posting inflammatory or divisive content online that could disturb communal harmony in the region.
The advisory, posted on the social media platform X, highlighted a noticeable uptick in provocative posts following the killing of Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasrallah by Israeli airstrikes.
“We’ve noticed inflammatory and sectarian posts being shared on social media, threatening communal harmony,” Cyber Police Kashmir said. “We urge everyone to refrain from posting or engaging in such divisive content.”
