Long-term Zomato executive Akriti Chopra, who was elevated to the position of cofounder in 2021 ahead of the company’s initial public offering, has resigned, the Gurugram-based food- and grocery-delivery platform said in a stock exchange filing Friday.
Chopra had been with the company since 2011, initially as a senior manager of finance and operations. She later became its chief finance officer, a role which was taken over by Akshant Goyal in 2020. In her latest role, Chopra was also Zomato’s chief people officer. She was also designated as a senior managerial personnel of the company.
