Indian techie living in Canada ‘unhappy’ with Rs 60 lakh salary; internet reacts

A video of an Indian techie paying around Rs 99,000 rent for a single room has gone viral. Shared by Instagram user Piyush Monga @salaryscale, the video has gained attention on the internet. In the video, the woman says that she has a total work experience of more than 10 years adding that earns around $100,000 (roughly translated to Rs 60 lakhs) in a year. On asked if she is happy with her salary, the techie said frustratedly, “Not at all”, which according to her is “not that much given the current economy.”
“It is not easy to live in Toronto with that sort of money.
It’s really bad,” she said.
