Flipkart has faced criticism for a promotional video. The video shows how women can order and store handbags from the e-commerce platform without their husbands knowing about the same was deemed offensive by a men’s rights group. The National Council for Men has alleged that they consider the video posted by the Walmart-backed company to be a “misandrist” as it claims husbands to be “Aalsi, Kambakkht and Bewakoof Pati.” Following the backlash, Flipkart has since deleted the video from its social media portals.
