Apple may have to stop using displays from these Chinese suppliers, here’s why

Apple may soon have to stop its reliance upon Chinese display manufacturers like BOE. The US Congress has sent a letter to the Department of Defense claiming China’s subsidising of display makers is a security risk to the country. This could potentially force Apple to diversify its display sourcing. The Cueprtino-based tech giant uses displays from various global companies globally for iPhones, iPads and Macs.
