US government does a ‘Google’ on Visa
The US Department of Justice (DoJ) has filed a lawsuit against Visa. According to a report by the news agency Reuters, the US government has accused the largest payment card services company of monopolising debit card swipes. The DoJ had previously accused Google of unlawfully leveraging its search engine monopoly to suppress competition and innovation.
