How Microsoft’s new verification system will protect users against phishing attack

Microsoft has introduced a video-based user verification system that is designed to prevent users from phishing attacks. In its Secure Future Initiative (SFI) report, the tech giant announced this new verification system and several other security initiatives taken up by the company. Microsoft also noted that since the debut of the initiative, the company has employed 34,000 full-time engineers for SFI and claims it to be the largest cybersecurity engineering effort in history.
