UPI payments reach this ‘milestone’ in April-August months
Digital payments in India have seen ‘remarkable’ growth, with UPI’s total transaction value reaching Rs 1,669 lakh crore in the first five months of this fiscal year (April-August 2024-25), as per the finance ministry. The transaction volume during the same period hit 8,659 crore, highlighting the widespread adoption of digital payment methods.
