EU court reduces Qualcomm’s antitrust fine but why the US chipmaker is penalised
Qualcomm’s attempt to overturn a European Union (EU) antitrust fine has been unsuccessful. Europe’s second-top court has largely rejected the technology company’s arguments in a 2019 case concerning mobile chipsets. The European Union’s General Court said that the fine against Qualcomm will stand, with a minor adjustment.
