Renesas expands R&D in India, eyes growth in automotive and IoT sectors

Japanese semiconductor manufacturer, Renesas Electronics is deepening its commitment to the Indian market with the expansion of its research and development (R&D) operations. According to Vivek Bhan, Senior Vice President and General Manager of the High Performance Compute Solutions Group, Renesas has established R&D centers in Bangalore, Hyderabad, and most recently, Delhi. This expansion reflects the company’s strategy to tap into India’s growing automotive and industrial markets while leveraging the country’s vast engineering talent pool.
