New Mexico Attorney General Raúl Torrez filed a lawsuit against Snap Inc., alleging that the company’s popular social media app Snapchat facilitates the sexual exploitation of minors. The suit, filed on Wednesday, claims that Snapchat’s design features create an environment where predators can easily target children through “sextortion” schemes.
