Google vs US: Judge sets this ‘timeline’ in Search monopoly case
A federal judge has said that he plans to deliver remedies on what Alphabet’s Google must do to restore competition after the Search giant was found to have an illegal monopoly in the market for online search, a report has said.
Citing prosecutors at a court hearing in Washington, news agency Reuters reported that while there are no specific details on the remedies that will be proposed, Justice Department attorney David Dahlquist said it should be comprehensive and take into account how Google plans to integrate artificial intelligence into search.
