India overtakes US to become second-largest 5G smartphone market in 1H24: Counterpoint

NEW DELHI: India has overtaken the US to emerge as the second-largest market for 5G smartphones, according to the latest report by Counterpoint Research. Strong shipments from Xiaomi, Vivo, Samsung, and other brands in the budget segment mainly drove the trend, as per the research firm.
